  • Worst Show

Currently the worst sports talk show in Southern Wisconsin. No time spent prepping. Likes to play post Packer game interviews in their entirety on the Monday show (fills time he hasn’t prepped for) and then at the end you get the obligatory, “Why don’t we do this, let’s take a break and when we come back…” and he says a topic completely unrelated to the 20 minutes of the just played interview. Man has no opinion (that would involve thoughtful prep), and when he does, it’s an idea he’s ripped off... more

  • Poor Radio

Bill gives the phone number repeatedly and begs for phone calls. He also says UHMM as often as he says the phone number. It’s extremely annoying and unprofessional. He really doesn’t offer anything new to any of the Wisconsin sports scene. The best part of his 4 hour show is when he has guests, which is rare. He does more self promoting than anything and repeats phrase’s constantly. As someone with 30 years in radio, he’s not a good host and needs to improve greatly. He’s extremely egotistical, ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 4: parsing through the Broadcast Act
Q: What is the core issue with the Sports Broadcasting Act as discussed on the show?
The act shields leagues from full antitrust exposure and allows them to negotiate broadcast deals collectively, but there is debate about tweaking it rather than eliminating it entirely because removal could disrupt balance between fans, teams, and networks.
Hour 3: Packers broadcast woes, Jesse Temple
Q: What do you think it would take for the Badgers to convince critics they're turning the corner in 2027?
Jesse Temple suggested sustained on-field success, signature wins, and continued strong recruiting and portal work would be key, with particular emphasis on performing in big games and improving offensive consistency.
Hour 4: more follow up on the Eichorst hire
Q: What is the day-one priority for the new Wisconsin Athletic Director?
The hosts suggest the top priority is to assess and stabilize football, followed by communicating a clear plan and rebuilding trust within the program and fanbase.
Hour 3: comments from Eichorst, Jesse Temple
Q: What is the first priority for Eichorst as he steps into the role?
To immerse himself, learn the landscape, build relationships, and work with campus leaders to set a foundation before pursuing aggressive revenue or program changes.
Hour 1: Bill Huber talks Packers
Q: What is the most explosive Packers player coming into the season?
Bill Huber suggested Tucker Craft as the most explosive option due to his ability to turn short receptions into big gains, and he also noted the potential for Matthew Golden to emerge as a dynamic playmaker.
