  • Best in the game

Dude is the real deal. He has his schtick. But he’s intelligent and what radio is all about. They all suck compared to Ben

  • Not as good as it used to be.

The show has declined a lot. IHeart canned Eddie Garcia, they moved Danny G off the show and now have this LeReina who never stops interrupting the show with cringe content. The woke management thought a late night guys show would want this, we do not.

Scott Shapiro should be fired for this.

  • Exceptional

Ben Maller possesses the most creative mind in radio. His endless stream of wit and mind bending analogies strains the English language to the breaking point. His merry band of “Maller militia” arrive fully baked from a Fellini movie. Together they make the Baba ganoush. Tune in for a taste.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3 - Playing the Fan Card
Q: What stands out to you about Browns coach Todd Monken meeting with Deion Sanders?
The host points out that Monken's openness to meeting signals the influence of celebrity gravity and prime privilege, where a high-profile figure can quickly open doors and shift calendars in professional sports.
Hour 3 - Not a Streamer's Paradise
Q: Ask Ben: Which city would you pick as the permanent Super Bowl home?
The host suggests the question might reflect broader industry dynamics and fan experiences, rather than a simple geography choice, and plans to address it further in a later segment.
Hour 4 - Poppin' A Wheelie
Q: What is Kyler Murray looking for with his next NFL team?
The host speculates Murray seeks the right football situation, emphasizing coaching, scheme, weapons, and a supportive environment, while injecting gamer-friendly considerations like Wi‑Fi and snacks.
The Fifth Hour: Robby Inc. - Sacred Grounds Book
Q: What is your favorite part about the ballpark stories, and do you have a favorite venue to feature?
I love the human side—the cooks, attendants, and staff who keep the ballpark running—as much as the on-field moments; Pittsburgh's PNC Park stands out for its beauty and city skyline, but every ballpark offers unique character that enriches the storytelling.
The Fifth Hour: Robby Inc. - Sacred Grounds Book
Q: What inspired you to write this book and how did your background as a TV reporter inform it?
My long tenure as a TV reporter allowed me to build deep relationships and to see how many crucial, unseen details shape the game's atmosphere; those connections and stories became the backbone of Sacred Grounds, offering a tour of ballparks through people's memories and photos that fans rarely get to hear.
