  • Ditch Lavar

Lavar brings this show down. He rarely even remembers players’ names, rambles, and is not well-spoken. Brady and Jonas are legit.

  • I admire you all

I've noticed that the Japanese athletic mentality is "similar" to the American's as long as they are active. They are stoic, brutally consistent focusing on their profession.

However, here, once athletes, regardless of being superstars and incredibly awesome, retire, they tend to be found as the standard folks. They're not so distinguishable in public. They're not celebrity here, which I might say, probably,

  • It’s my phone!

I don’t appreciate uninvited guests on my phone. Well, I love listening to two pros in a cup of Joe. I am deleting you from my phone. You have brought into my phone an explicit foul-mouth podcast which I will not listen to. Richest name. Cowherd did it several years ago. And I have not listened to a podcast of his since.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: Jonas & Brady - Jon Paul Morosi
Q: Can you give betting insight on USA vs. Canada and the overall field?
He notes that while he's not great at betting advice, Canada has a real chance due to its pitching and depth, and the US remains a favorite though the field remains competitive.
Hour 3: Jonas & Brady - Jon Paul Morosi
Q: Why is it only every three years for the World Baseball Classic, and should it be rotated more often?
Morosi explains that hosting is a massive undertaking involving the MLB Commissioner's Office and MLBPA, and while he would love it annually, the current cadence of every three to four years is considered appropriate to balance logistics and participation.
Hour 3: Jonas, Brady, LaVar - Petros Papadakis
Q: If you had your druthers, where would you look for a quarterback if your team needed a quarterback this off season?
Petros suggests that the choice depends on the circumstances, expressing doubt about the value of older quarterbacks and emphasizing the circumstantial nature of football success.
Hour 3: Jonas, Brady, LaVar - Fast NFL Combine & Jimmy G Comebacks?
Q: Who's more likely to have a start next year or a successful season in starting? Deshaun Watson or Jimmy Garoppolo?
Deshaun Watson is more likely to start and play successfully, being paid significantly, while there are doubts about Garoppolo's starting position.
Up On Game: Hour 2 - NBA All Star Weekend + Cuffs the Legend
Q: What are your thoughts on Chris Paul's retirement?
