  • Inaccurate info about copyright

Fine podcast but the April 22 episode gives incorrect info about copyright when working with generative ai. You can read this article from the Us copyright office which plainly states that an author can legally claim copyright over a work created with the assistance of generative ai. The article has been active since 2023. Search for: Copyright Registration Guidance: Works Containing Material Generated by Artificial Intelligence at copyright.gov

AI Marketing Growth Tips
Q: What should a small business know about ChatGPT or Claude, and is there a ChatGPT 101 approach you recommend?
Start with a welcome and onboarding for AI, acknowledge the fear of replacement, and run concise 20-minute model-specific trainings to get teams comfortable. Emphasize hands-on practice, live training weekly, and a culture of continual micro-learning rather than lengthy courses.
AI Marketing Growth Tips
Q: What do you see as some good and practical ways that a business can use AI, and make it almost immediately useful?
Adopt a single preferred large language model to serve as the central 'partner,' then layer other AI tools as supportive contractors; train that core model on your business so it understands your customers, processes, and brand, which dramatically speeds up workflows like prospecting, content creation, and even video production.
AI Marketing Shift
Q: Yeah. What is your backstory on AI and marketing? How did you get involved in this?
The guest explains a long history starting with early search tools like Ask Jeeves, emphasizing that data has always been central and that modern AI marketing builds on a data-centric foundation.
AI Search Revolution
Q: What advice would you give an up-and-coming marketer trying to break in with AI in marketing?
Focus on building looping processes rather than just prompting. Learn how to design AI-enabled workflows that solve real problems, identify the specific outcome you're delivering, and align your messaging with the problem you're solving, not just your capabilities.
AI Search Revolution
Q: What is your back story on AI and marketing? How did you get involved in this space?
I've been into computers and AI for years, starting from early experiences with Google's ecosystem and then building GStacker to solve real-world problems for local businesses. The core idea is turning Google into a credible, verifiable authority source for LLMs by structuring content and leveraging Google's ecosystem to improve ranking and visibility.
