  • Tactical founder guidance

If you’re an early 0-1 stage startup this podcast is awesome. Love how the host presses for details on what the Founders are actually doing in the very very early stages rather than just waxing poetic about sales funnels. Good early stage founder guests too who really open up.

This Linkedin strategy is BONKERS
Q: For your LinkedIn, do you have a before and after, how many average monthly impressions you got on your LinkedIn before you started State of Brand posts and how many you're getting now?
Impressions exploded after adopting a newsroom-style process; prior to State of Brand, LinkedIn activity was minimal, but now it regularly pulls millions of impressions per week, with some posts hitting hundreds of thousands or more, driven by a structured workflow and tailored angles.
How to operationalize going viral on LinkedIn
Q: What is the process behind churned-out content on a regular basis?
They set two creative videos per month (lean-and-mean and hero formats) and run a regular two-and-a-half hour brainstorming and scripting session in a coffee shop to maintain discipline, backlog ideas, and ensure high-quality execution.
How to operationalize going viral on LinkedIn
Q: How do you decide between which employee accounts to push for thought leadership, and how did the chemistry with Steven influence the first viral video?
They focused on strong chemistry, selecting Steven for his presentation skills, then developed a collaborative workflow that produced engaging, funny content. They started with podcasts, evolved to movie-scene style videos, and iterated until a viral hit emerged, driven by a mix of talent, timing, and a repeatable process.
AWS Chief Evangelist on How to Evangelize Software
Q: What lessons would you pass on to someone starting as an evangelist at a new cloud startup today?
Prioritize deep product knowledge and audience needs, reach the right developers with credible, authentic messaging, and use scalable channels while still nurturing tight, meaningful in-person connections where possible.
AWS Chief Evangelist on How to Evangelize Software
Q: What was the turning point that convinced you AWS would become massive?
Early on, the combination of a growing developer ecosystem, the architecture of services like EC2 and S3, and real, measurable adoption signs showed momentum beyond a niche; the shift from a technical curiosity to a scalable, business-backed platform was the turning point.
