So thank you guys for providing this resource on biblical fina... more

Joanna Hogan, Founder and CEO of Inspire Generosity, on Reframing the Giver-Ministry Partnership (Ep. 189)
Q: What are the three pieces of advice for a new development officer to set them on a better path than traditional fundraising?
She recommends (1) focusing on creating a great giving experience, (2) investing time to understand the generous people and the ecosystems that connect wealth with meaningful work, and (3) building a smaller set of strong relationships with the right people who can move the needle.
Joanna Hogan, Founder and CEO of Inspire Generosity, on Reframing the Giver-Ministry Partnership (Ep. 189)
Q: How does supporting ministries move from transaction to meaningful relationship?
Joanna explains that true giving is about treating donors as partners and aligning conversations, timing, and messaging with what matters to them, not just asking for money.
James Lenhoff, President of Good Sense Movement, on Freedom Through Defining Enough (Ep. 188)
Q: What mindset shift is most essential when someone is considering defining enough for themselves or their family?
The core shift is recognizing that none of the resources are ultimately ours; we are stewards. This prompts pre-commitment to a boundary, continual dialogue with the owner, and a move from hoarding to joyful, mission-driven giving.

Q: What was the turning point after the business exit that shaped your approach to giving?
The realization that wealth is God's money, not theirs, plus the influence of The Gathering and Donor Advice Funds helped them create a disciplined, mission-driven giving plan.
