  • My View On “Hellgate”

I really did appreciate listening to the 2.5 hour episode on hell. One thing that wasn’t mentioned, from what I recall, is the passage of John 17:3. • Hellgate episode

This was an amazing episode for a couple of different reasons. One, it opens up the discussion for the different Christian beliefs of what happens after an unsaved person dies. Second, it is a great display of how Christian men can disagree on theological matters, and yet honor Jesus!

Q: I'm wrestling with whether to stay in a job that pays the bills or pursue a calling that might not pay right away. How should I think about this?
Provide for your family now while remaining open to pursuing callings that align with your gifts; a vocation can coexist with mission, and opportunities may arise within your current job to share the gospel and serve others.

A nuanced view is offered: some environments are spiritually risky, but not inherently demonic; the emphasis is on avoiding places and practices that lead toward dangerous paths while not condemning culture outright.
