I really did appreciate listening to the 2.5 hour episode on hell. One thing that wasn’t mentioned, from what I recall, is the passage of John 17:3. That passage is absolutely key — I think changes the entire discussion. It’s so much more helpful to understand what eternal death is if we first understand what eternal life is. Jesus says in 17:3 that it is to know God and Jesus Christ. So, for Jesus, it’s to have this personal relationship with Yahweh. And so, eternal death is the opposite: not h... more

This was an amazing episode for a couple of different reasons. One, it opens up the discussion for the different Christian beliefs of what happens after an unsaved person dies. Second, it is a great display of how Christian men can disagree on theological matters, and yet honor Jesus!
