  • Why the hate?

Iv been listening for a bit, not sure why Kara left and now there’s a new person (David) but that aside , I enjoy the podcast, i dont always agree with the host but that’s kind of the point. I particularly enjoy at the end when David reveals his homeward 🤣.

  • Credit to the podcasters

Looking for a sci-fi movie podcast and stumbled across this disaster. Impressive that the creators of this uninformed mess made so many episodes. There is a complete lack of chemistry between the hosts who talk through very basic explanations of the movie narrative. They offer literally no insight, interest or perspective. Mind numbingly dull.

  • Friendly podcast.

The hosts have a lot of chemistry and clearly love talking about sci fi movies. It's very casual and they aren't afraid to tangent a little.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Test Subject #304: Bugonia (2025)
Q: How did you feel about Bugonia?
Overall, I enjoyed it as an experience, but I think I liked Save the Green Planet just a little more due to its emotional depth.
Test Subject #299: Scanners II: The New Order (1991)
Q: What did you think of Scanners II: The New Order?
It's in the same universe but lesser in every way. It feels like a direct-to-video film without a compelling plot or engaging characters.
Test Subject #297: Linoleum (2022)
Q: So David, what did you think of Linoleum?
I think it's worth the watch, especially if you like uplifting little indie dramas.
Test Subject #293: Robocop (2014)
Q: What did you think of Robocop 2014?
Going into this, I was going into it through the lens of a follow-up slash reimagining of the original trilogy, and very quickly, I realized this is not that.
Test Subject #279: Virtuosity (1995)
Q: What was your favorite scene?
The moment Sid conducts his Orchestra of Chaos and the absurdity it set up reflects classic 90s cinema styles.
