  • Great updates

I really enjoy the updates, but holy cow, for a quick morning update, half are commercials. Please back those down. I 30 second jump past.

  • Used to be good

I used to enjoy the show when it first came out. I’d listen every day. Over the past few months, the advertisements now take up close to 45% of the show, 50% is now just pre recorded conversations from his other shows or news clips and only about 5% of actual commentary. I used to enjoy listening to Ben’s take on things, but the show barely has any of that any longer.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trey's Law — Protecting the Victims of Child Sex Abuse
Q: What has been the response from other lawmakers and what can listeners do to help move this forward?
The bill has bipartisan sponsors and broad support; listeners can contact their senators and representatives, share the episode, and participate in public advocacy, including social media, to keep Trey's Law momentum going and push for swift passage.
Trey's Law — Protecting the Victims of Child Sex Abuse
Q: Senator, can you walk us through how Trey's Law changes the landscape for survivors compared to current NDAs?
Trey's Law makes NDAs in cases of child sexual abuse void and unenforceable when the victim is a minor, while still allowing restraints on the abuser's rights to be kept, ensuring survivors can speak out if they choose and without sacrificing their civil remedies. It removes incentives for lawyers to pressure silence and aims to protect victims' voices nationwide.
Airport Chaos ENDING, DHS Partially Funded—the Inside Story plus Save America Act & Artic Frost
Q: What led to the decision to fund TSA and the DHS components now as opposed to later?
Cruz argues the Democrats had worsened the situation by blocking funding, and the President's order to fund TSA was seen as necessary to prevent a total airport shutdown and to maintain national security operations, with reconciliation as the path to a longer-term resolution.
What's the Objective in Iran? plus New DHS Secretary & Big Texas Primaries
Q: What is our objective in Iran, and how do you see the goals of this intervention evolving?
The objective is regime collapse and removal of the Ayatollah and his key leadership from power, followed by neutralizing short- and mid-range missiles and drone capabilities to prevent further attacks, while recognizing the risk of broader regional war and learning from past experiences in Iraq.
Iran Invites Neighbors to War by Attacking Them, Noem Out-Mullin In & Elections are BIGGER in Texas Week In Review
Q: Did Kristi Noem run the DHS advertising campaign by the president and was the $220 million ad spend approved ahead of time?
The president was reportedly informed, and there were conversations about ensuring the messaging aligned with not only domestic policy but also national security messaging, with later scrutiny on bid processes and contractor selection, though the president's explicit approval on every detail was debated.
