  • Love to listen in on these guys. Their opinions are not tainted by any hidden agendas. Just their thoughts about the game. Neither Kyle or Nate or Nate are hard set with their opinions. They can change their mind. I like that style of open discussion. Don’t really hear that sort of talking style these days.It would be fun to go to lunch with these guys, individually or separately. Good vibe every time I listen to an episode.

Love the pod. Not sure why you guys have to spend so much time on the city connect jerseys?? They are all awful. Do ya’ll actually care what the players are wearing? Stick to strictly baseball and whats going on (on) the field. Thats what the people wanna hear your takes about. Love you guys. Kyle needs to take it easy on my Mets. Keep it up!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mets Snap the Suck
Q: Murray's question of the week: if called upon, could you confidently play any position except pitcher for your favorite team in a world series for all seven games, or would you pass?
The hosts acknowledge the challenge and broadly agree that they would struggle to perform any non-pitcher role at peak competitive level; several share humorous takes about roles they might try, but overall they imply they would likely pass or only attempt a pinch-hit or limited defensive role if absolutely needed.
Skubal One-and-Done in WBC
Q: Would it make it better if they would have said get through pool play?
If that was the plan, I would rather have not heard that Scoobal was only in for one start until it was time.
Skubal One-and-Done in WBC
Q: How would it feel if this was more like a November timeline thing?
It likely wouldn't get anyone that's played in the World Series, but for players wanting more after a season, November might be a better timeline.
Who Will Win the Home Run Crown?
Q: Who do you think's taking the crown?
The discussion highlights Schwarber's chances due to his contract year and lower wear and tear compared to Raleigh.
Headlines You Need to Know About
Q: Does Shohei Ohtani miss out on the MVP in 2025?
Yes, he misses out on the NL MVP this year.
