  • Funny and entertaining!

I love this podcast the banter back and forth is great! I love that they talk about books but give their perspective, opinions and background talk is funny!

  • Hilarious and delightful!!

Dr Spoons and Wheezy do a phenomenal job summarizing the books they read without making the episode feel dry or drag on. I’ve listened to a number of their episodes and I laugh every single time!

It feels like I’m sitting down with a pair of friends for a cup of tea and a book club. Also, they have such soothing and melodious voices (which is so important in order for me to enjoy a podcast)! 5/5⭐️!!!

  • The no book club

Maybe they’re fantastic when (if?) they actually talk about the book, but I’ll never know because I didn’t make it that far. I listen on my work commute, and I by the time I got to work (over 20 minutes), the book hadn’t even been mentioned yet! It was just random chatting, nothing even slightly related to the novel.

  • MAKES ME LAUGH EVERY TIME!

I love these gals! I am getting into reading now as an adult and this was my first podcast experience. I am so glad I ventured into podcasts to get reviews on books rather than some bait clicking person on YT.

I love how they portray the books in a easy to understand way and add a funny twist to their reviews. I laugh every time.

To be honest I enjoy this podcast so much, I now listen just for laughs rather than for getting reviews on books. Please keep making more! My first episode was the ... more

  • Good but too much unrelated talk

Once they start talking about the book, the episode is great! But it can take them 45-50 minutes of unrelated talk and then only 25-30 minutes of book talk.

It great that they give time stamps for slippers and honestly I usually don’t mind some beginning talks in podcasts but I just think they are just too excessive with it.
