I’m your host Scuba Steve and thanks for checking out my mediocre podcast!Every week here we pick a nice ol’ retro video game. We’re gonna travel back in time, we’ll talk all the movies, shows and toys that surround that game. Disney, let’s talk. You already broke our hearts in the theater with The Lion King movie. Then, you release a game that will make an entire generation cry for totally different reasons. At what point does a hard game become just plain...unfair? The c... more

Just a subpar review for an amazing pod.
I really love this pod. I’ve listened to a lot of nostalgia driven video game pods and this at the top for me.
Each episode takes you on a journey back to the time the game in question released and then walks you through the game itself with a solid overview.
Scuba Steve brings the references, humor, and enthusiasm that make this pod a unique way to rediscover your favorite games :)
Fun listen for “back in the day” stories. Mortal Kombat, heck yeah! I learned new things even though I was there!
Where else do you get 45 seconds of Mario music followed by everything there is to know about the game. This one gets a green tag for sure
