A small town full of nice people, bad politics, and supernatural forces. Oh and sulfur in the water. Be careful about that.

Eight years of Tales of THATTOWN. This show could be be in second grade or its third try at Kindergarden. The spelling test at the end of the year always trips people up. Spelling Appalachia is hard.

A very entertaining show, got it's own thing going on, different and surreal, just what I was after. It'd the same kind of surreal as Night Vale, What's the frequency and king falls. Well worth a listen.
So much fun. I’ve listened through multiple times
Great podcast. Funny.
Great podcast. Funny.
Great podcast. Funny.
Love this podcast, great for a laugh and on my third listen through.
My happiness meter doesn’t crack the 100% mark, until I get a THATTOWN episode in me. Unfortunately, the # of days is greater than the # of episodes. Let’s get crackin’ on some more Tales.
Por favor and gracias me amigo‘s
This quickly became one of my favourite podcasts, it's fun and well made. Tales of Thatown is in the smae style as Nighvale or King Falls as has been said, but it goes out and about the town as well as the local radio show. Supernatural silliness of the finest quality.
Dear That Towners: more, please! I LOVE this podcast.
Looking for new podcasts to listen to and I clicked on this one by accident- but it turned out to be fate because I love it. It's great listening while working! As a southerner who now lives up north, it hits all the things I miss about back home while also being new and entertaining. Town mages, clones, sauntering men, Steve Enormous, Roberts Rules of Order, and whatever the hell Josh and Other Josh is- a great podcast and an entertaining listen.
Thattown is charming, relatable, and has such a big heart that I can't help but be drawn in. I love this podcast with all my heart and am so proud of the creators for doing what they love. Southern podcasters represent, much love. <3
Tales of THATTOWN is hard for me to categorise, though it's one of my favourite podcasts. It's a comedy-horror show (emphasis on the comedy), and can be very surreal - though not in the same way that Welcome to Night Vale is. The regular cast of characters are genuinely engaging and hilarious - and there are one-off stories (the "syndicated programming") that branch out to tell other stories - a particular favourite are the "Casino at the End of the World" stories.
This was terrible. I listened to a couple episodes, so I did give it a fair shot. That said, it was neither entertaining nor well-written. It almost felt like a fourteen-year-old listened to King Falls and tried their hand at writing something similar. This, however, was poorly thought-out. The horror and comedy elements were juvenile, at best, and the whole thing was just... weird (in a bad way).
Ever look into your town’s laws and find some odd ones? Ever wondered if there were worded ones still on the books that could be used nefariously? This podcast answers those questions, but adds things like magic and zombies... just beware of the Mayor.
