    The show is well narrated and fun. He doesn’t let the rules get in the way of a good story. But uses the rules to kind it just the same. Very entertaining

  • This was a neat series.

    Another reviewer said that the dice rolls could have been taken out, and I agree. The mechanics being included is only helpful if someone wanted to understand BECMI D&D, and I think that would be done best with video, even if it's just stills of the charts, maps, and character sheets. That being said, I think the narrative story was done VERY well. I grew up with the Red Box. This is familiar, hallowed ground for me, and listening to it this way was super fun.
