“我妈妈还在世，但她不能跟我们再生活在一个房子里了。”
说出这句话的，是一位陪伴母亲走过近十年阿尔茨海默病程的女儿。和无数中国家庭一样，她曾深陷于“把亲人送进养老院”的巨大内疚与挣扎中。
这不仅仅是一个关于疾病的故事，更是一个关于爱与放手、超越传统、以及在绝境中寻找到意外救赎的故事。
如果你正在照护认知症亲人，感到孤立无援；如果你对“养老院”充满偏见与恐惧；或者，你只是想提前思考我们这代人的养老命题——这期节目或许能给你带来一丝理解、慰藉和勇气。

这一期我们采访了阿默的社工部主任——彭志红。
在与她的交谈中，我们了解到养老院的社工部所承担的职能与工作细节。
她们不仅需要策划有新意、有温度的活动，比如带长者参与模拟旧时菜场的“时光集市”，在重温日常中收获新的感悟；还要不断向外汲取灵感，并根据长者们的具体情况对活动进行适度调整。
每周一次的特别活动，让老人们的生活不再枯燥乏味，也有益于减缓病程的进程。尽管与护理部的协作需要不断磨合，但她们甘之如饴。

这一期，我们采访了在阿默担起“客服经理”重任的一位女性，彭莉。
面对认知症长者，她有着自己独特的小技巧，去消除ta们的恐惧和不安；面对自己的团队，她既严格又温暖，她说同事之间需要彼此支撑。
我们聊到了居家照护和集体机构照护的区别，没有哪一种更优，只有哪一种更符合认知症长者和家属的需求。她说有些家属会在送老人来阿默时感慨，要是早点来就好了。所以，需要让家属知道有这样的集体照护机构，至少，ta们能有选择的权力。
