The episode may be fairly interesting, but it seems as though there were two episodes being recorded in the same room at the same time, such that one either records over the other, or with the other running in the background. It makes it really difficult to tease the two apart, so that the listener cannot really immerse him or herself in the storyline. Unfortunately this is pretty much unlistenable with two shows playing simultaneously in most episodes.
I’m. It sure why there is always a super dramatic show playing in the background. I can’t make out what’s being said half of the time. However, the shows are absolutely the best when I can make them out. Classic suspense radio with great actors, nostalgic commercials and such a great connection to the 1940’s and the war. Great insight into that time. But…man…that noise of the second show is AWWWWWFUL!! I’d give five stars if not for that and would wish I could give ten.
I was going to give 5 stars, since I listen to this podcast often. For some reason the host has been uploading episodes where it seems like two OTR shows are going on at the same time. This has been going on for a while. I understand that podcast audio can have glitches, but to keep posting podcast with a very distracting problem, isn’t very wise.
