Wondering what took me so long to find this podcast. I’ve heard them all, over 200 horror podcasts. Quite simply one of the best productions out there, if not the best. Not hyperbole and not limited to horror. While I’m not an avid fantasy reader/listener, I indulge in these sporadic episodes splashed among some of the greatest horror stories ever told because I can trust implicitly that any new content, regardless of genre, at the hand of KVB will be the most compelling & entertaining content t... more
When it comes to narration, I put a lot of stock in the voice that's telling me the story. Stygian Sagas stories not only scratch that cosmic itch, but the narration fits perfectly into the style of stories told. I can and have put on an episode at random and gone to sleep lulled by the soft, no nonsense voice in my ear.
Why does this writer have only 27 reviews? This person is a master storyteller.
Instantly engaging. Talented storytelling, very simply put…paints a vivid picture in the listener’s mind. Thank you sincerely for this. Sets me right back in that endless and ancient Kentucky wilderness I knew as a kid. Where everything was true and possible
I just came across this podcast a few weeks ago and have been working my way through the stories. They are really creative, the narration is on point and some of them really creeped me out. If you like pods like Knifepoint Horror or Acephale, I definitely recommend. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
And to the author: Great work! Thanks for making them.
