  • The funniest, low key, just a couple of guys talking about something they love, and sorry, not sorry, The Best Marvel Champions Podcast, period. On a side note, so super jealous of all the fun you guys had at CoH, but really glad you guys finally got to go! A momentous occasion for sure. Another great episode in the bag.

  • Just what I was looking for

Took a year or so off the game and just coming back in trying to catch up on all the X-men stuff and found this podcast and the first episode is exactly where I left off the game so it feels like a great jumping on point. Loved the first episode. Cant wait to hear more!

  • These guys put the hulk in She Hulk!

Both hosts crush each episode with great Marvel Champions topics and shenanigans. They absolutely gamma rage through the Flavortown segments which are something I look forward to each episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 63: Custom Leader Corner - Cylops w/ MrSelfDestruct
Q: How did you start the idea for custom leaders and what inspired the Cyclops leader?
I was inspired by Civil War concepts and the idea of heroes as 'villains' in the leadership role, then mapped Cyclops and his X‑Men connections into a leader framework that stays true to the source while fitting the game's constraints. Collaboration with others in the community helped refine the concept and ground it in a transferable, repeatable design formula.
Episode 46: Artsy Fartsy w/ Tony aka N1GHTCRAW73R
Q: Can you walk us through your art-creation process from finding art to finalizing a card?
I begin with Pinterest to source art, select four to five options, ensure there's no existing in-game art, then import to Photopia to build the card skeletons, adjust colors and stats, layer the art, add flavor text, and refine until it fits the card frame across stages.
Episode 46: Artsy Fartsy w/ Tony aka N1GHTCRAW73R
Q: When did you start making custom content and did it begin with alt-arts or homebrews?
I started with alt-arts on May 23, 2024, after Nightcrawler's article and realizing there were only four cards missing; I began with four cards and a Nemesis set, then expanded into homebrews and other custom content over time.
