  • Great combination of substance and nonsense

I really like these boys. I find that too many wargame podcasts devote a ton of time to simply repeating rules information, or stating the shallowest implications of text. These guys really dig deep into the theory of the game, and games in general, with less of an emphasis on how to execute any given tactic, but rather on how to think about a game. • Review for strictly the worst

This is my favorite guild ball podcast. These guys do a great job explaining the competitive scene and they do it in a fun and entertaining way. I enjoy their theory crafting and the hosts.

  • Timeless content

Lots of podcasts (including my own) are bound by time to be relevant. Strictly the Worst provides top-knotch Guild Ball strategy and tactics that is timeless. Models and plot cards may change but the advice they give on every episode (when to counter attack, how to kick off, who to kick off with, etc., etc.,) remains permanently invaluable.
