Insightful and absolutely hilarious look at weird fiction. Starting out with the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, it has now moved far beyond him, and delves into many well-known and lesser known authors. The hosts are comedic geniouses, but while there are a ton of laughs to be had, they always treat their subject respectfully.
Since I have to Patreon feed, I forgot to subscribe to the SSofSS feed! Five stars!
I thought I’d never hear Chad and Chris again so I was very happy to discover they had just shifted sideways from HP Podcast to a different name.
well I was wondering what had happened to you two guys. I had NO IDEA you’d changed title and new show etc. so glad I found you! Maybe put a notice on your old feed? more
For this episode they really needed to get that woman's or feminist scholar to dialogue with. The Yellow Wallpaper is not a ghost story or philandering husband story, it's a story of how women were infantalized and abused. It is a story of mysogyny and the horrors of patriarchy. ??♀️ Couldn't listen to more than 10 min of this episode.
