- Rough around the edges, but love the grit
Ok, 5 stars is a little high but we should encourage this kind of show. Sometimes the sound quality isn’t so good; sometimes they sound like teenagers at a nerd convention and sometimes the guests sound like they’re reading an undergrad textbook.
But shows like the one on the immune system or Alzheimer’s have insight and details. They’ll get better and I’ll keep listening.

I like Straight from a Scientist because it's fresh, honest, and direct. Instead of click-baited, sensationalized science, the listener hears from current researchers as they talk about what they're working on today.
