The threesome catch up and dive deep into the queer-adjacent-in-a-problematic-way movie BASIC INSTINCT.
Trigger warning for, really, all the bad things. Who knew the nineties male gaze was so horrible?
(We did. We knew.)
The ladies catch up on life and luxuriating in before diving into this week's movie special: Flashdance. However problematic the plot is, we can't deny that the soundtrack still slaps!
After a few weeks off, the gals are back to catch up on spinoff news, sketchy nights out, and the ongoing skepticism of the general hellscape. We've missed each other and you all!
After a few weeks off, the gals get together to catch each other up on sickness, health, and temporarily going Tiktok viral.
The gals get together to wander down even more random tangents as they reflect on the season (series?) finale. Then they go through the mailbag to find out how The Tens are processing everything.
The ladies gather around the microphones to take in the season -- possibly series? -- finale of The L Word: Generation Q.
Spoiler alert: we were confused by the timeline of this wedding. WHY WAS THE CAKE BEING CARRIED OUT WHEN THEY HADN'T EVEN DONE... more
The gals are back to chat the peniultimate episode of season 3 of The L Word: Generation Q.
The gals get together to gab about episode 8, "Quality Family Time." If sporadic dog barking bothers you, we recommend skipping this one!
Come back!
I didn’t think three people, three not one, could get things so wrong. From the recap, which glossed over many important points, to the complete misunderstanding of Esti’s position (she could not just leave, or divorce him, those communities leave in the Middle Ages, she was practically, and especially her child, the property of the man). One good point was made, in the context of the hug, about the male giving them permission, and that going back to the director.
You guys are so funny. I agree this show is about who is going to cheat on who.
I like your podcast, but the dogs barking ruins it.
I’m one of the Crazy Ex Girlfans, now crossed over to a Straight2L. I don’t watch the shows they recap. I am here solely for the banter. I snort laugh every episode. Tanya,Suzanne, and Whit have fantastic chemistry and humor.
I just listened to 210. I am so disappointed in the constant negativity. Criticizing all the characters, the writers, etc. They worked during a pandemic and rushed to get us the show we love, for this abuse?! Try to find one positive comment. We have one show with mostly all LGBTQ actors and characters. You laugh that they might not renew the show. You all are just so hateful. You even said that Ellen is terrible.🥲
I’ve just found your wonderful podcast! Well done to all it’s awesome. Also am I the only one thinking that Pants has totally nicked your concept?
Very very fun enjoyable and entertaining show, you definitely don’t have to watch the L Word to love listening to it. The 3 gals are so natural and fun together, it doesn’t feel like they are reading off of prompts. Tanya is hilarious and so quick, love her commentary on the show and her insight into the cultural context of the L Word. Suzanne and Whit are a great pair too, they bounce off each other well and it’s funny when Tanya pokes fun at their straightness. Only thing I’d changed about th... more
Goofy and rambling, and also sometimes thoughtful and provocative. I don’t care about The L Word at all, but I love listening to Tonya, Whitney, and Suzanne each week.
I love the obvious ex-show choir memories and it makes me want to see you guys hate watch glee as 30 somethings! hilarious, this podcast is motivating me to go on walks every day just to keep up with listening😂

I just finished up listening to Crazy Ex Girlfans and I also loved/hated the L Word so I’m so excited to have this to listen to!! All the ladies are great but it’s especially nice to have more Tonya on this pod—she is lowkey hilarious.
I enjoy listening to you ladies so much. I don’t watch The L Word, but I found you through searching movie reviews so now I’m hooked!! Please make time for more film discussion when you are taking a break from the show b/c I love listening to you all!!
Makes me laugh and warms my heart! 😉
S2L feels like watching a terrible, outdated, offensive show with your hilarious friends, riffing on it and picking it apart. Many laughs and much thoughtful analysis to be had. When I first saw the show, I was in college and none of my straight friends would watch with me, so I had no company for my misery. This is like coming home.
Love you guys! -STK
I love listening to these funny people. I’ve given up on actually watching along because the show is such a mess but the podcast is wonderful without the show.
