I like Matt’s videos a lot and so I started listening to the podcast while doing chores. The banter is usually entertaining between Matt and Sean, and Sean adds an outside perspective which is pleasant. The podcasts usually feel like a nice addition or cherry on top to the videos with little or lots of insights
If they let me play Time Crisis from PlayStation and all those shooting games from Duck Hunt to House of the Dead to Point Blank to Red Steel I’d finance Tim Cook’s retirement. For work I’ve already have too many screens.
Vertical solar panels! Great! Put them everywhere and see what happens. Hands-on usually works better than pencil and paper.
Are EVs better than dinosaur burners? Sure. Just get behind a smelly diesel in traffic and see. Power plants can be cleaned up more easily than a million individual vehicles, too. And I HATE wasting time at gas stations in nasty weather!
There is an environmental cist to manufacturing EVs. But you are eliminating some coal mines and oil wells at the same time.
This is a great show well researched and entertainingly delivered.
I’m a middle aged engineer and I almost never like what I see in the media landscape because it’s usually wrong, always displays biases (intentional or not), and almost always lacks sufficient depth to adequately examine a subject. Matt Ferrel is the opposite of all that usual crap- he is thorough, tries to be unbiased and does an excellent job of examining internal and external biases, and he has an obvious interest in the subjects he looks into.
