Omg I love Stephen king, can you please read more of his books!! đ
This was just awful. I listened to the introductory episode and this woman, who NEEDS TO BLOW HER NOSE PLEASE BLOW YOUR NOSE FOR GODâS SAKE BLOW IT is just starting a podcast but acting like sheâs talking to a large group of listeners already. She says that if you write in, your name and location will be mentioned on the podcast! What an honor. This is all surface stuff, but itâs clear sheâs a tepid reader (she admits to being a big reader of romance novels) that hasnât even mucked about in that... more
I really wanted to like this but the woman reading the podcast was disorganized and took forever to getting to the material. When she finally did it sounded more like gossip rather than a critical discussion. She kept saying things like "I wanted things to turn out well for (a character) but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read the book or movie yet. The movie? Not the same dear reader.
Stumbled upon this podcast while searching for the green mile, glad I did as I really enjoyed listening to it, will be listening to all the others soon. Well done :)
I read the whole dark tower series and I thought nothing could beat the stand or the first book he co authored with Peter Straub called the Talisman, but, the whole series of books is awesome. The way he ties his other novels into the series is almost poetic and hypnotic. I am the constant reader and will continue to be. If a whole series is a bit much for you, the one book I do highly recommend is the Talisman. It will take you away.
