Applying for Grants Pt. 1
Q: What recommendations would you give based on your experience to others on this?
People should try for grant funding and for federal grant funding in particular. Universities love it, deans love it, chairs love it. It's great for your career.
Applying for Grants Pt. 3
Q: How am I going through figuring out what those options are, and how do I even apply for some of these opportunities?
The Office of Research is going to be your good friend, it helps to meet folks there, especially for early career scholars.
Applying for Grants Pt. 3
Q: Do you think it's fair to say that those, I think you said CIHR or CHIR, and then CFI, those are more healthcare medicine based?
Yes, those are bigger governmental grants for sure. But I think sport management has a really key role in some of those projects.
