  • The Master of all Feeds

Great way to catch all the wonderful podcasts on the network, plus a few others! When I started listening to Trek.fm, I listened to the entire back catalogs of Literary Treks and Melodic Treks. Once caught up, I wasn’t sure what to dive into next. So I just picked up with every show where they were at! At some point I will go back and listen to all of The Orb. But there’s just so much good content coming out all the time now! It’s almost hard to keep up, but I do!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Literary Treks : 393: Go with the Flow
Q: How do you go about crafting the story to fit the confines of what's going on the air but also not mess up anything?
Mack describes it as repairing a car engine while it's running, needing to balance continuity and originality.
The Orb : 168: A Father’s Choice
Q: Do you think the deciding factor is, and the reason that Sisko would allow Rugal to go back to Cardassia, is because of the nurtured hatred that Rugal has had on Bajor for all Cardassians?
It's a tough one; I don't think there's a right decision here as both choices are difficult for Rugal.
Literary Treks : 376: I Didn’t Know I Needed That
Q: Did you face any challenges in tying the story to established Star Trek canon?
Yes, I had to navigate existing relationships and timelines delicately to ensure continuity.
Literary Treks : 376: I Didn’t Know I Needed That
Q: What inspired your new book, 'Pliable Truths'?
I was approached by my editors who wanted a novel that crosses elements of TNG and DS9, written during the TNG timeline.
Literary Treks : 378: Lots of True Crime Podcasts
Q: Were there any restrictions on characters you could use?
Cox states that he had free rein and only made minor adjustments for timeline consistency.
