  • Does he never not interrupt ?

I’m quite new to this and he gets some good guests but it feels it’s all about him. You think you’re about to hear something interesting, a guest is developing a line of thought, then he interjects with some inane anecdote about himself. Susannah Constantine must have the patience of a saint. He’s infuriating.

  • Stop interrupting

Came here to listen to the Susannah Constantine interview. So frustrating that the host kept talking over her and interrupting her. I wanted to hear from her, not you. Disrespectful.

  • Great topics, lousy sound

Not sure if it’s just my device or my app, but the interviews are so quiet. The commercials are the usual sound level but the actual podcast is very, very quiet.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Carol Decker: Chip Butty, Orkney Scallop, Roasted Peppers and Spenwood Cheese
Q: What is the purpose of signature dishes?
The chef doesn't really choose a signature dish. It's chosen by the customers and it's chosen by the people that eat in the restaurant.
Carol Decker: Chip Butty, Orkney Scallop, Roasted Peppers and Spenwood Cheese
Q: What would be the next thing for you? Where would you see Latimer next move food-wise or wine-wise or whatever?
We're constantly tasting. I'll try every wine and every glass I have, I'll probably have 10 different glasses just trying to do it better every single day.
Carol Decker: Chip Butty, Orkney Scallop, Roasted Peppers and Spenwood Cheese
Q: How did T'Pau come about?
I went back to art school and I was always singing in the live painting room, so we're all painting the radios on and I'm always singing along to the radio and I could always put in like a third or a fifth harmony just like that.
Clodagh McKenna: Pizza, Chocolate, Crab cakes and Tiramisu
Q: Could you tell us about your background and entry into the culinary world?
Clodagh shares that she started at Balnew Cookery School and trained under Roy O'Connell, emphasizing her experience with farmers' markets and the food revolution in Ireland.
Andi Peters: Fish Fingers, Rhubarb Crumble, Chicken and Leek Pie, Blackberry Sorbet
Q: What is your relationship with fame?
I just think you... Other than close friends.
