I've listened to Split the Veil since it's beginning and loved their enthusiasm for Dragon Age especially alongside tangents to everything Bioware. I've learned plenty about Mass Effect and Dragon Age and have laughed and cried alongside them as EA and Bioware have made great decisions and far more awful decisions. I look forward to them hopefully finishing up their Veilguard coverage but then I'll be sad it's over. Great job guys, you've been amazing!
The Podcast is fine, but maybe has run its course. The bigger problem, though, is that Caitie seems to have shifted quite a bit as it has progressed. The Podcast, in its first several years, largely avoided political topics, and even when it addressed them, did a good job of being relatively thorough and even-handed. So, I know that this is the kind of podcast that has had a dedicated following for quite some time now, but I just want to express my absolute adoration for this podcast. Dragon age dread wolf is on the horizon, but even when there was no announcement for the game at all I was waiting diligently for a new split the veil episode every month. The second this podcast comes out, I am scrambling at my phone, waiting for the most perfect moment to hear these two talk about a game I love. I have been h... more
This has been a comfort podcast for me for the past few months, I’m a big Dragon Age fan and I love to listen to these two share their thoughts on the series, or their thoughts on games/life/media in general. Great podcast for video game fans or bioware fans!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years now. This show has been great for giving me that dragon age fix until we wait for Dreadwolf to come out.
But honestly one of the best things about this pod is there are NO ads. In this day and age you can hardly go anywhere without someone trying to sell you something (Better help, hello fresh, etc etc). It just gets annoying. I really appreciate how I can start this podcast and not have to worry about stopping whatever I’m in the middle of doing t... more
