And in the days leading up to the 2025 Roger Albert Clark Rally which is becoming such a cool event on the Rally calendar, I feel like it would have been soo much better to talk about the cool stories of cars and competitors doing that event than to pretend is 30 years ago.

Marcus Grönholm's latest rallying project
Q: What is the fundamental goal of the ARC2 project and how does it fit into Rally 2 positioning?
The ARC2 aims to be a cost-effective, Rally 2-level car built to compete in the US, with an emphasis on durability and the ability to run tests consistently so that speed and development can be pursued in later stages.
Marcus Grönholm's latest rallying project
Q: What were Marcus Grönholm's initial impressions having driven the ARC2 for the first time in testing in the US?
He described that the car was capable of being driven from the first test session, with only small changes needed, and that the team is focused on reliability and progress rather than immediate speed.
Andrew Wheatley on Hyundai's troubled start to 2026
Q: What measures have you taken to make the car more competitive, and is there a window of operation you're trying to widen?
We've moved testing to a new base to better suit high-speed gravel, increased development on tarmac, and aimed to widen the performance window while maintaining reliability, though it remains a balance.
Andrew Wheatley on Hyundai's troubled start to 2026
Q: What was it like in the command center when that moment happened in Croatia?
The response was of disbelief and a shared sense of disappointment, with emphasis on how hard the team had worked and the importance of staying focused for the rest of the season.
