Hey everyone!
It's been a long time. Here is an interview Em did with Ian Blurton in the original run. I didn't want this just sitting in my Dropbox and collecting dust. So here it is! Next episode TBD until then enjoy!
First episode back after a long rest! We speak about the song None of the Above off of the Weakerthans' first album "Fallow". We also spoke with a great guest and huge Weakerthans fan!!
The long-awaited second episode of Season 2. Today we talk about the song Hospital Vespers. Em also interviews Ivan Rivers (of the Fallen Ivan Rivers, self-proclaimed folk icon and Ontario punk band Stuck Out Here).

Literal trash. You can do much better Mike.
I am a long time fan of the weakerthans & John K Samson but this podcast is difficult to listen to.
Love the Weakerthans and enjoy the discussions about the songs, the interviews with great guests, and the frequent tangents the episodes go off on.
The episodes seem to be completely unedited though and are much longer than they need to be. Also, I find the audio mix very frustrating. The guests are almost always at a much lower volume than Emma and this makes it difficult to find a comfortable listening level during the interview segments.
I love a good song breakdown. The Weakerthans have such interesting songs. I can’t wait to hear more.🤘
