Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Stuck on Forms - 1/11/26 by Sokuzan - SokukoJi.org
Q: When you say everywhere you look you see yourself, is it a self-reference that can never be broken?
It's not about breaking a self but recognizing that the sense of self is a conditioning that dissolves when awareness is primary; observe without clinging to the observer or the observed.
Perpetuating Stories - 1/24/26 by Sokuzan - SokukoJi.org
Q: What is the difference between the dharma talk and sharing a dream or the lie that shows up in thinking?
The teacher suggests distinguishing between direct experiential awareness and the thoughts that interpret or modify that experience; the aim is to observe without crafting fixed stories, recognizing that thoughts are not the ultimate truth.
What is Appropriate - 12/7/25 by Sokuzan - SokukoJi.org
Q: Is everything appropriate, an attitude to treat everything as a teaching, no matter from whom it is coming?
Yes, but it's about always being a student and receiving everything.
The Greatest Misunderstanding - 12_21_25 by Sokuzan - SokukoJi.org (1)
Q: What is you're encouraging us to observe and receive and not fix? What is the difference between observe and fix?
Observing is receiving as it is without trying to change or manipulate it.
The Greatest Misunderstanding - 12_21_25 by Sokuzan - SokukoJi.org (1)
Q: What is the greatest misunderstanding?
That this is real. That we have to stop it, start it, change it, manipulate it, do something with it.
