  • Changes

This show used to be exceptional. Now it is just ok. It is a Steelers podcast. I don’t care about topics that have nothing to do with football and the ENDLESS twitter questions. That never happened with Dale. Matt did not change……There is a reason I Hated the Standard before. I like to hear adults speaking about football.

I like listening to the other teams perspective before the game. Matt scouted our team really well. Didn’t disagree with much. Steelers fans this is a good pod.

  • Who Ride!!!?!?!?!!??

Enjoy the show. Listen every day or whenever I can catch up with these podcasts.

*UPDATE* RIP Dale. This show has been my go to podcast for years. I loved the daily updates and just good old “bar talk” between you and Matt. Going to really miss that…

Hopefully the Steelers can finally get that Stairway to 7.

    Godspeed brother.

HR1: Nick Herbig Extended / McCarthy Speaks to the Media
Q: How does Nick Herbig's contract influence your long-term strategy at the outside linebacker position and how you value players on rookie deals?
It reinforces the idea that you pay for impact at the right time, but you still build around young players on rookie deals to maintain cap space for the future and sustain a strong defense.
HR1: Nick Herbig Extended / McCarthy Speaks to the Media
Q: Coach McCarthy, with three outside linebackers being paid to contribute, how does that affect your rotation and game plan moving forward?
The key is to keep all four players fresh, maintain roster flexibility, and ensure we can deploy different looks depending on the opponent, while keeping core concepts intact.
HR2: Projections / Angelichio Media Availability
Q: What about Mason Rudolph's role within that room?
Rudolph is viewed as a veteran presence who brings experience and wisdom, aiding the development of the younger quarterbacks as part of a collaborative room.
HR2: Projections / Angelichio Media Availability
Q: How much does it help you guys as an offense and the younger quarterbacks to have Aaron here so early in this off-season process?
Rodgers is described as a mentor and a resource, whose feedback and preparation help the whole quarterback room develop and learn the system.
HR2: Projections / Angelichio Media Availability
Q: How does that help you in your role, having Aaron Robinson?
Angelichio explains they will draw on Aaron Rodgers' strengths and provide the best opportunities for the quarterback group, leveraging Rodgers' experience to develop the younger QBs.
