i’m a long term listener feeling VERY guilty about not ever appeasing your requests and writing a review, but i hear your cries for help! i’ve discovered many wonderful books through this podcast, but i mostly come for the conversation. you have the holy trinity: lots of swearing, lots of random rabbit holes, lots of things to laugh at. lots of appreciation from brisbane, australia!
They talk about books, they talk about reading. They talk about the word on the page (or Paige on the Words?). I searched my podcast app for The Bell Jar.
It was too much like two friends talking about a book they read.
But they started talking about Jonnynothumbs. I loved that part of the show. I may or may not have found his twitter account.
Finally a podcast that is honest about liking (or absolutely hating) both popular and unpopular reads, instead of pompously pretending to have an opinion for the sake of being “book people.” Light-hearted and relatable. I found you guys when I wanted to find accurate opinions on diary of an oxygen thief, keep the podcast goinnnnnn! P.s. Johnnynothumbs has no life ;)
