I’ve been using Blackstone for oil analyses for over 10 years, but only started listening to the podcast last year. I learn something new every episode! Often times, questions I didn’t even know I had are answered in the various discussions. Good stuff!
I’m an automotive nerd who always likes learning about new aspects of the hobby. Joe explains things in an easy to understand way and somehow, things don’t really become repetitive episode after episode. If you’re curious about used oil analysis or just looking to explore a new alley of the automotive hobby, it’s worth checking out.

Oh so smooth! Very informative and fun to listen to.
This show has just the balance of fun to information just right. I have learned a lot about just how useful oil analysis can be, how to best sample my oil, but also had some good laughs as Blackstone Joe cracks a few wise ones.
My only comment is that in the most recent episode “no oil no problem” I think they had the volume and length of the fun sound effects just a tad too high.
This show is a big part of the reason I will be sampling with Blackstone Labs from now on!
