  • Eric and Vi tackle some interesting arguments - from the derivative to the obscure and everything in between. They approach most callers with respect, provide compassion and empathy for those struggling with issues in their lives, and promote a fairly healthy version of positive atheism/secular humanism. Although some conversations can run long or are too focused on definitions and philosophical concepts, they do acknowledge this and the time of their listeners. Star Trek references are a plus!

  • Agree to Disagree

It is refreshing to hear skeptical hosts taking on claims with calm respect, sound argumentation, and deeply challenging arguments. What is also engaging about Vi and Eric, is they demonstrate how disagreement (even between each other), does not have to disintegrate conversation into emotional mud pits, and can end with simply acknowledging they see things differently. Great show.

We STILL Need To Talk | Skeptic Generation | Episode 1 Season 3
Q: How do I train my brain to get more comfortable with using they, them pronouns?
Practice is key. Allowing yourself grace and recognizing that it's okay to make mistakes can help. It might be easier to think of people's identities in a non-binary way and create a mental 'cubby' for each person's identity.
