I really enjoy listening to Gus, his very knowledgeable & intelligent & i like when he knows his been baited. Love your work Gus 👍🏻👍🏻
Can’t really believe a word that comes out of his mouth so not waisting my time listening anymore unfollowed. I always found Thompson annoying
Until Gus apologises for the way he talked to Michael Chammas, I am done with this podcast. He pleads his innocence on the fact he didn’t use the exact wording that is put to him but you don’t have to be a genius to see what was happening. I was trying to figure out why this is largely unlistenable. It finally twigged, it’s because Gus is dishonest and basically a politician / propagandist.
He knows footy better than anyone, but is covered in politics and spin that you can’t trust him even when he digs down that deep.
Sadly, this is a nostalgia pod at best. Dishonest propaganda primarily.
Using your platform to defend a player who did the wrong thing is an absolute farce. Reed had a pretty big open target with a defenseless player on the ground and still shouldered him in the head - give me a break. Will never listen to Gus ever again. Flog.
