When I was stationed at Fort Meade, I found WGTS. I heard Dr Tapp while commuting to conduct a weekend barracks inspection. His teaching has enriched my life. I made a point to listen regularly despite having a church home.
Now that I live in Texas, I listen on Apple Podcasts. I am so happy that I can continue listening. I am blessed by Dr Tapp’s delivery and vulnerability.

A most excellent preacher with encouraging, thoughtful, practical, God-centered messages. I try to always walk my dogs at 8:30 am on Saturdays so I can tune in on the WGTS app and listen and am thankful he makes his messages available a few days later on podcasts for Saturdays when I’m not able to tune in or when I want to hear it again. Thank you Dr. Tapp and WGTS!

Episodes frequently tackle worship as action, the value of serving the vulnerable, the importance of honest testimony, and building authentic, intergenerational church community. A recurring thread is shaping faith into tangible discipleship—through acts of mercy, prayer, and responsible living—often illustrated with Scripture, historical Christian thinkers, and contemporary life stories. The show stands out for its clear pastoral guidance, family-oriented and community-focused lens, and an emphasis on living out faith beyond church walls.
