    As a new hockey fan (I started watching the Kraken in preseason this year) this podcast has been one of the many ways I’ve been acclimating myself to the hockey world, and certainly the place where I’ve felt most actively welcomed. Work hard, be yourself, and be prepared for luck. Rejection will happen but never give up. Perseverance is key.

Q: Can you give us maybe an insight of the differences between you calling a game here for the Kraken versus when you're going on a national broadcast?
The difference is when you do a Kraken game, you're wearing your heart on your sleeve; you care more than 100%. When it’s national, you just lay out the facts without the emotional investment.
