「男らしさ」のジェンダー規範に深く根付いているのか、感情や自分の状況についての「言語化」については、やはりジェンダー差が大きく表れるように見えます。つまり、おおざっぱに分けると女性は子どもの頃から感情を話すことで交友関係を増やしたり、マイノリティならではの、言語化に迫られるという経験を通しても、言語化をたくさんしている人が多そうです。一方で、男性は感情を封じ込められたりという社会規範もあり、自分についての言語化が難しくなったり、あるいはその必要性に迫られなかったりして、比較的言語化の必要性が重要... more
自分の体をありのままに受け入れ、社会的な美の基準に左右されずに前向きに捉える「ボディポジティブ（Body Positivity）」が広まっている米国で、「行き過ぎた」言動が健康や医療を否定するような風潮や、さらには「痩せようとすること＝悪・恥」という新たな抑圧（トキシック・ポジティビティ／有害なポジティブさ）を生んでしまっている現状も、問題視されはじめています。
