They talk about books that I’ve never heard of before and reviewing it in a comedic and personal way that makes it fun to listen to and laugh about. They have opinions that I can agree with but can’t talk about with other people. Love the conversations they have about them selfs and the book. The episodes are long enough that it’s not over and to down to earth that enjoy but still short enough that I can get bored. Love them so much and wished they never stopped!
When you review a book especially author as big as Nora Robert’s whom has many books made into movies. Had you fact checked you would have learned Midnight Bayou was made into a film in 2009.
I tried listening to this podcast but found it very hard to follow. Too much rambling.
Anna and Em say the things you'd love to say about all those best-sellers that you can't in front of your friends who like to pretend to be literary snobs. When they're not pointing out that the emperor has no clothes, they also try out other genres and tropes that they don't normally read and their reactions and insights are just as good as the jokes. Definitely recommended.
You know those books that came up in book clubs , that everybody hated.... those are the times you laugh a lot at book club and it is a bonding moment.
This podcast is that meeting you can have by yourself.
