  • Amazing Podcast

I absolutely love the concept of this podcast. So many TV, Movie, and Video Game podcasts are simple recaps shows, which are fine. But the way this podcast discusses the Kingdom Heart franchise is so refreshing. Also, the hosts sound like such fun and friendly people and they have good rapport with one another, which also adds to the enjoyment of listening to this podcast.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Terra feat. Eliseteria - The Corruption of Control
Q: Where did the conversation between Master Xehanort, Terra and Eraqus take place?
The conversation occurs in a pitch-black realm, and it is suggested that the setting reflects Terra's internal struggle and control between himself and Xehanort.
Master Xehanort - How many lives has he lived?
Q: Is Xehanort his real name?
Yes, it appears to be his real name even prior to his possession of Terra, but it's interesting that his name is an anagram of No Heart, suggesting he may have adopted it for a reason.
Master Xehanort - How many lives has he lived?
Q: For Elder Xehanort, his ultimate goal is to live beyond his life. Why didn't he take on apprentices of his own for such a purpose rather than using Eraqus' apprentice, Terra?
Xehanort strikes me as the type of guy who doesn't want a student, because the more he has to teach, the less he gets to learn. He seems self-absorbed, more focused on his own ambitions than on nurturing others.
Worldbuilding III - Where do Keyblades originate?
Q: If Kingdom Hearts is pure light, is there something opposite to that, that is pure darkness?
It's interesting because the Keyblade, which is the counterpart to Kingdom Hearts, is made of light and darkness, so it raises the question of whether Kingdom Hearts is truly pure light.
Roxas II - How is Roxas tied to Ven?
Q: How does Xemnas perceive Roxas's connection to Sora?
Xemnas seems to know about Roxas's past and suggests a deeper connection may exist between Roxas and Sora than just being Sora's nobody.
