  • Keeping women trapped

Therapists like this profit off the expectation that women absorb, accommodate and endlessly tolerate emotionally and psychologically abusive behavior from men.

Remember that men rarely do this when it’s the other way around. In fact, studies show that men are 7 times more likely to leave a spouse when they are merely ill, let alone if they cheat.

Notice that this therapist talks about boundaries but encourages women to accept “imperfection” and just focus on themselves. That’s not a boundar... more

  • The “Restructuring Divorce With Discernment Counseling with Arlene” Episode

I have so much respect and admiration for Dr. Rob. Over the years, I’ve learned a great deal from him—I’m a licensed clinician myself—and I continue to value his insights. That said, this episode was genuinely difficult to listen to. If it were transcribed, I think we’d be taken aback by how frequently Dr. Rob interrupted his guest. The way Dr. Rob asked questions felt noticeably different from his usual style: impulsive, abr... more

  • Feeling duped

In a great time of need, I was seeking resources and help. I found Love, Sex and Addiction. I actually feel betrayed….again. In a dark moment of trying to find light & hope, I feel duped. I feel exploite... more

Part 2: Navigating AI – Artificial Intimacy
Q: Can AI serve as a therapeutic aid, or does it hinder real therapeutic processes?

Part 2: Navigating AI – Artificial Intimacy
Q: What are the risks of dependency and escalation in AI-enabled relationships?
Risk includes increased isolation, heightened expectations in human partners, and potential reinforcement of narcissistic traits due to constant reinforcement and lack of accountability.
Part 2: Navigating AI – Artificial Intimacy

AI can provide continuous validation and empathy, but it may also undermine real-life trust by replacing human practice of repairing, negotiating, and growing through conflict.
Why Is My Addict Such a Liar?!
Q: Is there a difference between being a pathological liar and a compulsive liar in relation to addiction?
Both can be related to addiction, but they stem from different underlying psychological issues.
Why Is My Addict Such a Liar?!
