I was so excited for this podcast after reading the WLFC blog. Alyssa has a beautiful way with the written word and tied the juicy stories of her life into her own introspection and deeper meaning that had wider appeal. I was hoping the podcast would be more of the same! Unfortunately, each episode felt like listening to someone talk who was overly full of themselves and just wanted to hear their own voice. Annnddd it’s already over lol. Alyssa kinda deserves the shade she’s getting in these reviews. She’s constantly peddling some new thing she’s just begun & has no experience in, holding “retreats” where people have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to hang out with her, gyrating in her underwear and no bra and calling it “embodiment,” finding God only after meeting a dude whose a Christian and THEN creating some weird influencer thing complete with promotional videos and photos after like 6 mo... more

This podcast is already over I guess? Maybe not profitable enough. Funny for someone who used to yell at other creators for doing things they weren’t fully “embodied” in yet, that this is like the sixth money making grift this person has abandoned. What’s next? Probably something other people do for free with friends, like a book club or Bible study.
