I just began listening to the episode on the Heart Sutra and I find the translators voice to be very difficult to listen to. It would be helpful if she would speak from her diaphragm, rather than using a falsetto, head voice.
For some reason women seem to think that this falsetto voice is indicative of spiritual attainment, but unfortunately it doesn’t do well over the radio. Deeper more resonant tones are easier to hear and understand.
