  • Definitely recommend listening to Manoj

I loved Manoj's approach of business, marketing & cybersecurity.

Obviously, not enough people think or care about cybersecurity. But we can feel how Manoj is not about fear-mongering and much more about education, thought leadership, and genuinely helping the industry with applicable insights.

Definitely the company to go to for your cybersecurity needs!

  • Lots of good insights into the world of Cybersecurity. Many people starting out in Cyber would not be able to talk to the CEO or CISO and ask them about how they started out in cyber and what they think of cyber events happening today. Manoj is a great host and truly asks great questions to pick the mind of these Cybersecurity professionals.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S19 E07 Treat Artificial Intelligence Like a Drunk Intern
Q: What are your concerns with Co-Pilot in enterprise environments?
Concerns include pervasive data access if licenses grant broad permissions, the potential for data exposure through integrated tools, and the need for strong RBAC and guardrails to prevent inadvertent leakage or misuse.
S19 E05 The Future of Decentralized Data
Q: Did you start off in computer science or what's your origin story?
John explains his early immersion in computer infrastructure and how the internet's growth steered him toward scalable, secure storage solutions, leading to his role at StorX.
S19 E04 What Good Is All This Cybersecurity Tech… If It Still Fails?
Q: How do attackers respond to deception when they know it exists, and how do you mitigate that risk?
Attackers may slow down or alter their behavior when they suspect deception, but the cloud focus and LLM-driven canary generation help keep the deception believable and adaptable, making it harder for adversaries to bypass without triggering alarms. The goal is to slow, mislead, and provide actionable detections to defenders.
S19 E04 What Good Is All This Cybersecurity Tech… If It Still Fails?
Q: So what makes deception så compelling in cloud environments compared to traditional on-prem deployments?
Deception in the cloud leverages native resources and scalable infrastructure, like S3, Secrets, and IAM roles, which allows for high-fidelity tripwires with far lower cost and maintenance than physical canaries. The cloud also reduces fingerprintability and enables automated, scalable deployment across large enterprises.
S19 E02 What the U.S.–Saudi Relationship Means for Cybersecurity
Q: What opportunities do you see for US companies in Saudi Arabia's evolving tech landscape?
There are substantial chances for manufacturing presence, software development bases, and AI-driven innovations, supported by a regulatory framework and government initiatives that encourage foreign investment and joint ventures between the US and Saudi entities.
