Very helpful for my planning to hit these sections.
I love hiking the AT and am a big fan of this podcast. It’s detailed, insightful and a fun listen.
I have been binge listening to this podcast, and plan to continue listening once I catch up and new episodes are released.Jon needs to stop reading from a script. This is a lot more obvious when he repeats, verbatim, a statement he made a couple minutes earlier. Get away from reading with a meter that shows lack of feeling. Jon stated he is a Washington bureaucrat, but you need not not sound like one.
Jon does a fantastic job of laying out his experience including prep for his hiking adventure. I appreciate his outlining of different types of fun. Additionally, love how he talks about physical AND mental health when hiking. Keep it up Jon! You are an inspiration.
Being new to hiking, this show has been a great resource to prepare for our first three day hike on a section of the AT.
