  • I binged this until

I binged the first 2 seasons in a matter of days. I was surprised that a single and that being the author could reign in my attention. So, although not my usual fiction podcast go-to, love it. AND. And I am writing this review because it makes ZERO SNESE HKW I.P. Could be so absurdly powerful this far into the life of this story without the Bastion or someone else stepping in when they are so clearly not on the side of good in any capacity. The recent episodes are making this hard to listen to. ... more

He said, “Vinegar Strokes” during the most recent intro. The fact that he is a fan of the league makes me love his work that much more.

Q: First question, are you ready? From Chip Bleyad. Hi, Scott and I. Long time junkie here. I am really enjoying the mixtape stories that have been in the podcast feed recently. For quite a while now, I've read slash listened to and have called up the songs that resonate with the plot, the characters, and the settings. How did you feel about that experiment?
Scott explains the process behind MIX TAPE, noting the stories were inspired by emotional reactions to the songs and that what started as a one-off evolved into longer, more involved writing with over 100 pages added in some cases, reshaping their original plan.
SLICES: Big News About Scott’s Books!

Scott explains that editing has increased it; he's currently editing and can hit 6,000–10,000 words a day, with today being about 25 pages.
SLICES: An interview with author Andrew Givler
Q: Why did you choose first-person present for Ironbound, and how did that affect the storytelling?
The first-person present voice made power dynamics and action feel more immediate and active, allowing a tighter focus on the protagonist's experiences and decision-making as he grows, which suited the intensity of progression and the unique narrative angle of the series.
