Excellent narration and production values, combined with interesting content. These are the stories that will give you considerable “food for thought”!
I like to listen in the car and at bedtime. The shorter stories are great for a quick trip, and the longer ones are good for nighttime. There are several different readers, and some will become favorites that you are happy when you recognize they will be the storyteller.
I have several science fiction podcasts I follow but this is where I turn when I want real science fiction, not fantasy which seems to be what the podcasts I listen to seem to be anymore. The readers aren’t great but they keep me interested and there is something about sounding like a real person telling a story that is charming. Like sitting around at home reading the stories, not that people do that except in Jane Austen novels! I listen at night in bed before falling asleep. I like that man... more
This is a great podcast of old science fiction short stories. Overall quality is terrific, as are the readers.
Love this show! Science Fiction from yesteryear read by volunteers. Good stories that are not littered with foul language and “adult” content. Keep up the great work!
