Brilliant narration of thought provoking stories. I am not sure if it’s just the ones I have listened to, but they are so depressing. I understand that speculative fiction can lean in that direction and maybe it’s a sign of the times, but I find that I can only listen to this podcast every once in a while, no matter how good it is.

i have been listening to these stories to fall asleep to every night for the last 7 years, and kate baker's beautiful mellifluous voice is the only thing that has ever cured my lifelong insomnia. not that the stories are boring!!! just soothing to listen to. i love the wide range of stories, and especially the incredible scifi coming out of china recently. please never stop the podcast!!!
