I've known a few people I know who try to start/create podcasts with just a microphone and an audio editing program. That's fine and all, but you need just a bit more.

Don't follow everyone else's formula.
Do the research.

Great podcast for horror fans by horror fans. Danny and Joel have the knowledge and fandom perfect for this well crafted tribute to a genre that has earned the attention of cinephiles and novice movie-watchers alike. Admittedly I do not love most horror films but their reviews and analysis make me want to watch more. I also love the shorter, easily digestible format. Scare Talk is the best companion piece to all your favorite movies. A “must” listen!
I love scary movies so I was thrilled these two developed this podcast. They are really entertaining and have a vast knowledge of everything spooky and creepy. They cover both new and vintage horrors so there is something for everyone.
Danny and Joel know their scary movies. An easy listen that will have you laughing while being educated on generations of horror. Their abilities to break down movies and give different insights makes you ready to listen to episode after episode. Keep up the great work!
These guys are a lot of fun and really know and enjoy their horror movies. They give good reviews in an entertaining way.

Three horror-focused hosts dive into films old and new with energetic banter and thoughtful analysis. Episodes cover everything from in-depth reviews of recent releases to trailer reactions, franchise debates, and discussions of themes, craft, and cultural impact. The show often blends accessible, bite-sized episodes with longer, spoiler-friendly segments for patrons, striking a balance between nostalgia and fresh takes while inviting listener engagement and community behind a paywall. A standout is the duo's natural chemistry and willingness to connect genre insights to broader conversations, making it appealing to both casual viewers and cinephiles seeking a lively, opinionated discussion of horror cinema.
